I also disagree with the first poster. We have had the previous incarnation of this garlic press since 1996 - yes, 14 years. The black cleaner just broke and we're buying a new one. This is functional, lightweight, and inexpensive. My only complaint is that it only holds one clove at a time, but that's not really a big deal. Excellent item.
